MICROBLADING

Microblading is a semi-permanent for of a tattoo using 100% disposable blades comprised of tiny pins to pace pigment in the top layer of the skin. The strokes are placed using the artistic talent of our artist to look like hairs, and blend with your existing brow hairs. This is the most natural looking style.

NANO BROW

Nano Brows are a more advanced method than microblading creating strokes with a machine as opposed to a manual blade. Many clients do not need touchups with this style of brows. The process is less painful, lasts longer, and the lines will blur less. There is less scabbing with the healing process, and better pigment retention than with Microblading. This style is ideal for clients with oily skin, or who desire a longer lasting result.

COMBINATION BROW

Combination Brows are a mix of nano strokes in the front, and powder shading throughout the arch and tail of the brow. The shading fades naturally into the strokes, creating a fluffy tuff of hair in the front. This advanced technique is done by machine, with longer lasting results.

OMBRE POWDER BROW

Ombre Powder is also done with a machine for the most controlled and soft powder effect. This style will resemble a more filled in makeup look, and gives a defined shape. The powder can be soft or bold for whichever style you prefer. The fronts of the brows will be faded and intensify through the arch and tail. Ombre Powder brows typically have the best healing results and will require minimal touchups. This style is the longest lasting.

Brow Lamination is quickly becoming one of the industries favourite non-permanent brow services! Brow Lamination offers your brows a fixed position for up to 6 weeks. If your brows are curly, unruly, thin or just in need of a boost Brow Lamination is for you! We will fix the brow hairs into a controlled position to give you the most flattering look for your face. PERMANENT BROW PREPARATION

IMPORTANT:

NO Aspirin or Ibuprofen 24 hours prior to your appointment
NO caffeine 24 hours prior to your appointment, which includes tea
NO alcohol 24 hours prior to your appointment
Do not wear contacts to brow procedures – they may be put in afterwards
Due to insurance and sanitation requirements, no children, pets or guests may be present during your procedure. You will have to re-schedule if arriving with any of the above as they are not permitted.

Do not use Retin-A skincare products close to the enhancement area 2 weeks prior
Waxing/threading must be done no less than 3 days prior (Plucking is fine)
IPL Laser hair removal should be performed no less than 2 weeks prior
Electrolysis treatments should be performed no less than 5 days prior
Eyebrow tinting should not be undertaken for 1 week prior or 4 weeks post
Hormone imbalance, hair loss conditions, blood thinners and blood pressure medication will all slightly affect the longevity of the colour
Botox fillers must be completed 2 weeks prior and 2 weeks post to the procedure
A doctors note must be provided after Chemotherapy, major surgery or if you are diabetic or have any serious medical conditions.

CAN NOT HAVE PERMANENT MAKEUP DONE IF:

You are pregnant
You have keloid scars in the brow/lip area or are prone to keloid scars
Have a facial sunburn at the time of the procedure
Have distinctive discoloured permanent tattoo currently on brow/lip area
Are under 18 years of age

WHAT TO EXPECT:

The appointment will last approximately 2 hours in the following order of events:
Consultation/consent forms & before photo
Brow/Lip Shaping – we work together to determine the new shape
Surgical marker and numbing cream is applied – 20 minutes wait time
Colour is determined together
Procedure – roughly 30-45 minutes for brows, up to 1 hour for lips
The sensation is similar to waxing/threading and working in the epidermis layer of the skin. Most clients rate it a 4/10 pain wise.

Area will likely appear red and swollen for a few hours so plan accordingly
Colour will appear 10% darker than it will eventually be for brows, and 60% darker for lips
Strictly follow your aftercare instructions provided to you for the next 14 days

AFTERCARE

We will send you home with a printed aftercare sheet. Brows are to be washed morning and night for 14 days. Keep the area clean, with no products in it. Ointment is not necessary. Avoid excessive sweating and submerging the brows in water, but light water during showering is fine. We dry heal our clients, while ensuring they are kept washed and clean. Please avoid direct sunlight for minimum 7 days. We will explain the full aftercare in person.
